Hi peeps! We have a beautiful sunny day today. Not that I can fully enjoy it, sitting in my office until late tonight. But I do hope my men will go to the beach and have fun, not messing up my house more than they did yesterday! GAHHHHH! Not much time for anything but work, cleaning up and house renovation right now (started on my boy's room on Sunday, hope to be done by the end of the week). I do try to sneek in some crafting moments. And I tend to go CAS. Not that it make my process any quicker... But it might have something to do with my messy mind and house, trying to go clean when crafting. Maybe. :):):)
I have a layout and a card today. The layout is this week's DT project for
Scrap-Perra. New stuff is filling the shop and more is to come now after CHA. I have some awesome Authentique papers in a trailer moving my way due in Karlstad sometime this weekend. So, it's about time starting to use the papers I've been hoarding, not wanting to cut... The Crate Restoration line is one that I've had on my desk and patted for quite some time. But now, it's time to say goodbye!
Yummy! I've called it "Happiness in a cup". It's such a beautiful Cappuccino, and it tasted soooooo good, and I was in such a good mood when having it in a lovely place in Barcelona with my two favorite guys. It was a happy moment! Totally CAS! But I love how the colors and patterns are simply gorgeous, didn't want to cover anything up. Even though I did try. I used this fab sketch from
Creative Scrappers:
The card is a Christmas card. I started out this year with a lot of year round challenges, like making a Christmas card every week. Yeah, well... that worked out.... not. But I do loooove making them, and when
The Rubber Café have the
Christmas in July challenge this week, I got my stamps out and loved every minute.
Here is a close up on the cover. I put some glitter on the snow flakes and some glossy accents on the berries and it came out really nice. And the colors come up more like IRL on this one too. The rain was pouring when I took the photos, so it wasn't easy.
It's a window card and I'm entering it in
Jingle Belle's Oh HOLE-y Night challenge. Just wish I had taken a photo of the inside too. The snowman is really cute, and the cloudy MME paper was a perfect background. Oh well. That would have made this post EVEN LONGER! I guess I'm chatty today - you get that way when sitting in an office in an empty house all days...
Thanks for baring with me! Have a lovely day!
